EXPOSED: NHS eye care privatisation is damaging patients - take action
New reports from the Sunday Times and the Centre for Health and the Public Interest, show that private eye clinics are:
- Using poorer-quality lenses for cataract operations,
- Carrying out unnecessary operations and
- Failing to provide post-operative care to people they operate on.
These private eye clinics are taking out £1 in every £3 they are paid by the NHS in profits.
Take 1 minute to send our letter to your MP demanding that they let Health Secretary Wes Streeting know you want an end to this move toward US-style healthcare-for-profit.
