American healthcare profiteer, Centene, has recently taken over 49 NHS GP practices. This takes the number of NHS GP practices under their control across England to 70.

Centene has been called a "profit-greedy" company and these takeovers are terrible news for patients. 

Poplar and Limehouse MP, Apsana Begum, has tabled a motion in parliament to demand an end to the involvement of companies like Centene in our NHS.
